Skincare in fine layers.

Brand Strategy, Naming, Creative Direction, Photo Direction, Identity, Packaging, Website

Denier is skincare in fine layers, built for a compromised barrier: after a laser, a retinol pushed too far, a hard season.

The opportunity was a category that sells by skin type and mood. I started from the moment instead. Denier is a real unit of fiber weight, so the name came with its own scale: five formulas, 10 cleanses, 100 rescues.

I built the identity around that idea. A hairline serif drawn like fine thread, a palette that deepens from cream to taupe, and labels that print exact percentages and full ingredients. The photography documents, and every product stands on one studio setup.

The work was less about making skincare look clinical and more about building a brand that shows its work, worthy of the week your skin is having.

Concept project.
